Ruth specialises in providing regulatory compliance advice to multinational Fintechs, with a particular focus on payment services, e-money, digital banking, and open banking regulatory frameworks both in the UK and the EU.

With over 20 years in the payments industry, from working at the first ever digital currency provider Mondex, to managing large-scale payment change programmes at a UK retail bank, and extensive experience helping fintech clients navigate the regulatory landscape, advising business leaders on how policy can impact strategies, how to achieve operational best practice, and optimise compliance arrangements.

She also represents the Fintech industry on numerous working groups of the European Retail Payments Board, the European Payments Council, and UK Open Banking.
